We are launching a new division within our company focused on providing cutting-edge Computational Biology services to our clients. This unit will leverage our advanced multi-omics workflows and conduct further R&D by utilising public datasets and machine learning techniques.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess
- Profound knowledge of computational biology
- A master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Bio-engineering or a related field, with a preference for a PhD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A strong sense of collegiality
- The ability to work independently and as a team player
- Technological curiosity and passion for continuous improvement
- Fluency in English
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with academics, pharma R&D, and research centres to develop and implement innovative computational biology methods, analyse complex omics datasets, create predictive models, and contribute to the development of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers
- Communicate project progress, updates, and potential risks in a clear and timely manner
- Participate in both internal R&D and client projects, utilising your unique talents, knowledge, skills, and preferences to contribute to the company’s success while maintaining a strong customer-centric focus
- Provide support and mentorship to colleagues to contribute to everyone’s ongoing growth in performance and efficiency
- Embrace constant improvement by receiving continuous support and mentorship from your colleagues
- Build long-term relationships with our clients based on trust, mutual success, and pleasant collaboration
Required Biological Skills
- Experience with single-cell technologies and data processing
- Solid understanding of molecular biology, genomics, and transcriptomics
- Experience with bioinformatics databases, resources, and data formats
- Proficiency in statistical methods for data analysis
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in biology
- Familiarity with data integration and multi-omics analyses
- Skilled in data visualisation techniques for biological data
Required IT Technical Skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, R)
- Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git/GitHub)
- Good knowledge of Linux-based operating systems, libraries, and tools
- Understanding of software build automation (e.g., Make)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Modern workflow management systems (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake)
- Containerization (e.g., Docker, Singularity, Kubernetes)
- High-performance computing environments
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
